Senior Project Manager

Job Description
Job Purpose The Senior Project Manager will provide active Project and Program Management oversight on the IDCO Pricing and Reference Data (PRD) initiatives. Responsibilities The Project / Program Manager is responsible for managing the portfolio of projects and the individual project plans for selected PRD initiatives. Specific responsibilities of this role include: * Program and project level status reporting to senior stakeholders * Risk identification, reporting and tracking, including monitoring and implementing risk mitigation strategies. This includes documenting impacts and * Support escalation procedures of risks depending on probability and severity * Coordination of project resources and proactive identification/resolution of resource contention issues with respective resource owners * Creation and maintenance of project plans ensuring accuracy and feasibility of plan tasks with all task owners * Creation and execution of a communication strategies across all project stakeholders * Coordination of key interactions amongst project teams aligned to the final deliverable * Audit responsibility of all key project artifacts from requirements, specifications, plans, status, checklists and approvals * Ownership of the change management process as project execution progresses through to closure - deployment management remains the responsibility of the Development Manager * Ensuring project management best practices are actively applied from initiation through planning, build, validation and deployment Knowledge and Experience * Bachelor/ Master's degree preferably in Business Management/ or Computer Science, or relevant experience * Very strong Project Management experience preferably in Financial Services * Good knowledge and understanding of development and technical methodology e.g. Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM, Application software, testing lifecycle * Exceptional communication in both written and presentation * Experience managing projects across multiple departments, platforms, and methodologies Preferred * PRINCE2 qualification or equivalent Additional Information * Job Type: Temporary Work * Schedule: Full-time
