Country: United Kingdom Location: Southampton Function: Operations Level: Experienced Professional Appointment Type: Permanent 1.Context The Regional Supply Chain Planning Hub is an expanding area of the business and supports an above-market & above-factory supply chain environment. This provides both opportunities and major challenges moving supply chain activities away from local entities in order to deliver Company's preferred future. Regions are also going through some of the biggest consolidated change programs; such as common systems & standard Organization Designs (O2) Resourcing & factory closures. Combined with the points above this provides a huge momentum of change that requires careful and planned change management. This role is in the Regional Supply Chain Service Centre for ENA which is housed in Southampton. The incumbent is required to engage with designated end markets, customers, RPC, Procurement and factories and thus ensuring the link between Commercial and Operations is maintained effectively. 2.Knowledge, Skills and Experience Degree in Business Management or equivalent. At least 5 years' Supply Chain Management experience in an FMCG company. Knowledge of New Product Introduction, Product Life Cycle, demand and inventory planning. Able to useAt least 3 years' experience with planning tools such as SAP and APO. Excellent Excel skills Excellent engagement skills. Good interpersonal relationship and excellent skills in communication, influencing, rationale thinking & decision making. Team Player & Flexible; able to cope well with ambiguity. Ability to lead virtual teams. 3.Key Success Factors Meeting customers' NPI requirements (e.g. OTIF) Achievement of effective and efficient customer relationships. Speed of response and reliability when dealing with customer requirements/ inquiries. Good collaboration established with internal and external partners. Proactively dealing with and resolving issues. Close working relationship with the different functions within the Planning Hub, supplying factories, RPC and end-markets to ensure that the customer requirements are met. Compliance of processes and systems to Global and Regional guidelines - Standard Work Package, 4.Working Relationship Internal: DRP & Production Planning - Constraints and opportunities in relation to Capacities Material Planning - In relation to wrapping materials. Master Data Management - Master data integration and maintenance. Finance - For Transfer Pricing & related matters External: End Markets - To ensure smooth working relationship to deliver the customer requirements pertaining to NPIs.
