Job Description
* The role: Guidewire BillingCenter configuration / BillingCenter Integration Senior Analyst Duties and Responsibilities § Assist team in estimations, Proof of concepts, definition, designs of robust and efficient configuration solutions. § Prepare/Enhance Detailed Design Documentation (Field Mapping, Data Model definitions, Rules Definition etc) as needed to support Configuration development. § Assist Onsite/Offshore teams - and in certain cases be responsible - in solutioning of complex configuration by developing and demonstrating solutions using Proof of Concepts § Configure/Build/Develop PolicyCenter Configuration in accordance to the design documentation § Configure/Build/Develop GW Configuration/Integration components (Using GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Wizards, Workflow, Activity and Product Model development etc.) § Identify and develop reusable framework, configuration components to be used as is on multiple projects § Unit and Functional Test developed Configuration Solutions using GUnit, Mockito - Automated and Manual. § Prepare Build and Implementation plans for configuration work stream and report configuration work stream status * § Lead and manage teams of 2-4 developers and be responsible for team velocity in delivering configuration user stories on time § Work with external consultants & developers § Train and build a team of experienced professionals § Willing to travel in UK/Europe in support of project implementations/opportunities. Skills Required § 6-12 Years of Guidewire experience in o PolicyCenter configuration o BillingCenter configuration o ClaimCenter configuration o PolicyCenter integration o BillingCenter integration o ClaimCenter Integration § good exposure to SDLC and Java EE experience. § Experience with full SDLC and appreciation for Iterative (Agile) development lifecycle as used in Guidewire implementations § Expertise in configuring and developing several areas of PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter/Integration § Robust understanding of Guidewire Data Model § Experience in GW Configuration/Integration Development (GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Workflow, Product Model development) § Experience with XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools § Experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss and/or Tomcat § Experience with Database Servers like SQL Server, Client, and/or DB2 § Insurance Industry and Domain Knowledge § Leadership - Assertive, Sharp with ability to inspire, bring out the best in individuals and develop a strong configuration team to deliver quality configurations § Excellent communication skills, Onsite - Offshore co-ordination § Mentorship of Team Members
