Amazon Robotics is seeking a uniquely talented, highly motivated and strong technical leader to manage the international team and drive multiple initiatives to lead our International Growth and Expansion in Europe and Japan. The team is comprised of technical product managers to help define and deploy innovative solutions to solve complex and ambiguous problems. The ideal candidate is a creative, demonstrated leader/manager with superior analytical abilities with experience managing people and complex stakeholders. The candidate will have operational and technical consulting experience, people, program, project, or product management skills, as well as excellent listening, communication, and facilitation skills. This position will be responsible for strategic planning, financial analysis, feature definition and specification, and resource scoping and commitments for multiple products and programs. This position involves regular communication with senior management on definition, progress, risks and change control. Ability to lead extended cross-discipline virtual teams as well as project management and executive presentation skills are essential. Additionally, we expect that our technical leaders have a good customer focus and have the ability to operate in a product role if required. This job will require a unique combination of energy, flexibility, creativity, innovation, leadership skills, and proactive management. It also requires travel, up to 50% of overall time, to locations across Europe and to the corporate offices in Boston and Seattle.
