Are you looking for an opportunity to have significant impact at a great company while building your sales career? Sonatype seeks a high-energy, execution-oriented Account Development Rep to drive revenue. The position of Sonatype Account Development Rep plays a key role in defining the future of Sonatype and its quest to help organizations and companies gain benefit from the next generation of modern software development. This critical position requires an individual to be comfortable in a software start-up environment that is highly communicative and depends heavily on free collaboration with sales directors (outside sales reps), sales engineers and marketing specialists. The ideal candidate has outstanding phone presence and enjoys the challenge of prospecting and cold calling to find opportunities. Primary Responsibilities * Outbound prospecting and qualifying actively to companies effectively explaining the Sonatype value proposition * Meet or exceed your monthly quota for Sales Qualified Leads * Leverage your teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies and messaging to drive opportunities in regional areas * Research prospects, identify key players, generate interest and develop account plans to stimulate opportunities * Collaborate with your sales directors and pre-sales engineer team to create sales-ready opportunities * Communicate actively with the Sonatype marketing team on lead generation activity including campaign development and feedback on effectiveness of marketing promotion * Maintain back-office order for the sales team-actively maintaining the Sonatype CRM system Required Skills & Experiences * BS or BA degree and a minimum of 1 year of business experience in SaaS sales is preferred. Recent college graduates with sales experience may also apply * Fluent in German language (written and verbal) * Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills * Passion for selling and a high level of integrity-formal sales training a plus * Proven track record achieving measurable account development goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in Salesforce.com * Self-starter & hardworking, with a track record of success and drive for achievement * Proficient in Salesforce.com for sales activity recording and forecasting-fluency with LinkedIn, RainKing, HubSpot or other prospecting tools preferred * Experience successfully managing multiple priorities simultaneously, maintaining a high-volume pace with the ability to creatively "change gears" as needed We are 300 employees from diverse backgrounds, that hail from 50 countries, and speak 15 languages.
