Online Content & Conversion Executive Reports To: Online Content & Conversion Manager dmg media is the consumer media division of DMGT plc with a portfolio of print and digital businesses across in the the UK. dmg media operates the highly profitable print businesses within DMGT including the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday and Metro as well as newspaper titles across India and Middle East. In addition, dmg media has built a market leading portfolio of online businesses across the UK and internationally including: MailOnline, Mail Plus, Metro, Jobsite, Zoopla and Teletext Holidays. dmg media's Direct to Consumer business currently operates Mail Travel, Mail Shop, Mail Finance, On Trees, Today I'm Wearing and supports the rest of the dmg media portfolio in developing their D2C recenues; a single eCommerce business unit operating across editorially led assets leveraging the full groups' data. * Assist in weekly and monthly commercial business reporting. * Assist in sourcing, creating and uploading relevant content to the website(s) including copy and images and ensuring it is on brand, consistent and optimised for search and user experience. * Responsible for the coordination of articles online and liaising with internal and external parties. * Assist in producing content promotional pages, to schedule, to support marketing / e-marketing activity * Produce regular insight in to online performance metrics such as visits, conversion & revenue * Assist in ensuring that product information is uploaded to the website in an accurate and timely manner * Assisting with ongoing website development and testing and responsible for carrying out quality assurance checks on content * Support marketing report requests * Ad hoc reporting tasks * Potential supplier product review. ABV, range, cross over with current suppliers * Performing conversion rate optimisation tasks on a daily basis and provide suggestions for how key onsite journeys can be optimised. Required Skills * 12 months eCommerce experience * A disciplined, well organized individual who is also flexible in his/her modus operandi * Strong interpersonal skills * Planning & organising skills * Analytical, numerate and problem solving skills * Strong communication skills (written and verbal) * Good knowledge of optimising new and existing content for SEO * Basic HTML and image editing (Photoshop) skills. * Experience using a CMS to publish and maintain content * Basic Google Analytics
