Job Description
Responsibilities * Monitoring development activities, change management tickets, and their impact on U.S. Operations * Monitoring U.S. production, disaster recovery, and certification systems for issues * Troubleshooting and driving resolution of issues * Playing a leading role managing after hours incident management processing * Assisting build team to resolve build/deployment issues * Working Jira tickets assigned to DevOps * Creating/improving reports related to Operations * Analyzing and optimizing trading platform * Special projects: supporting implementation of new environments and new business requirements * Investigating software bugs * Capacity planning * Managing operational batch processing * Servicing and supporting Historical Data Product requests * Supporting on call rotation and occasional Saturday testing requirements * Special projects: supporting implementation of new environments and new business requirements Requirements * The ideal candidate will possess: * Equivalent of Bachelor's degree or higher * Ability to participate in weekend testing when required * Experience in a technical operations support role * High level of proficiency in Python, SQL and UNIX shell scripting * Ability to read and evaluate C++ (desired) * Comfort with Control-M and Patrol (desired) * Systems Administration experience * Network Administration experience (desired) * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (a must) * Vigorous desire to learn securities business and Cboe technology * Required to obtain FINRA Series 57 license * Ability to work well in a dynamic team oriented environment * Excellent written and verbal communication skills #LI-RO1 Cboe Global Markets is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
