The Senior Finance Analsyt is an essential part of the regional finance team for EMEA, working directly with the EMEA Director of Commercial Finance and EMEA CFO, supporting them in delivering timely and accurate insights about the EMEA business to senior stakeholders and partnering with Market Finance teams, Group Finance, as well as our HR and Technology teams. Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst Job Description: Supporting the EMEA region of circa 8 clusters (40+ markets) and 3 Lines of Business by ensuring all stakeholders have timely access to a common set of financial results and forecasts. A key aspect of the role is being able to assimilate and synthesise the monthly results and quarterly forecast submissions of the EMEA markets and being able to help the EMEA CFO present these to senior stakeholders, including the Global CFO. The role oversees the Bangalore based reporting Center of Excellence, which creates and maintains our standard reporting, and works seamlessly within the Commercial Finance organisation to deliver key actionable insights. This may also require carrying out ad hoc analysis and deep dives depending on the current needs of the business. Main Responsibilities: * Work closely with the Director of Commercial Finance and the EMEA CFO with overseeing the financial performance of the EMEA markets * Lead delivery of key financial deliverables, including the monthly results, quarterly forecasts and annual budget * Work proactively and build strong relationships with EMEA Markets finance teams and Group finance teams * Oversee the prioritization, output quality and workload of our captive Reporting Center of Excellence in Bangalore * Communicate changes to guidance on the the monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting process to the EMEA finance communities * Own the management reporting process for the EMEA region but setting reporting standards and timelines and oversee the quality and timeliness of delivery against those timelines * Occasionally supporting the controllership team with technical accounting treatments that have P&L impact * Help drive process level improvement for these cycles between Group, Regional, and Market level stakeholders * Oversee the process of getting changes made to the consolidation reporting system Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field * Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) * Minimum 4 years of PQE experience in a complex multinational environment * Strong financial analysis and Excel skills * Attention to detail * Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks * Strong communication & presentation skills * Ability to simply communicate unfamiliar concepts to stakeholders and market teams * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a very dynamic agenda * Experience with SAP BPC, or a willingness to learn quickly * Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building capabilities with the ability to quickly form working relationships with counterparties abroad * Exhibits a drive for continuous improvement of processes and operational excellence in their area of responsibility * Minimum 2 years experience in consolidated management reporting to senior leaders either at a business unit or regional/global level * Experience with SAP BPC or comparable financial consolidation tool The EMEA Commercial Finance team in London currently consists of the Director of Commercial Finance, 2 Senior Finance Analysts and 2 Business Analysts. There is great team morale and an open platform for airing ideas across the team with direct exposure to the EMEA CFO. We also have a support team of circa 13 colleagues from our captive finance organisation based in Bangalore who support us on a variety of tasks.
