Spotify's Payments team is responsible for managing the growth, stability and future direction of Spotify's approach to payments globally. We are now looking for an outstanding Senior Payments Analyst to join our team. This role, reporting to the Associate Director, Payment Optimisation is a unique opportunity to make an impact on Spotify's core business by optimising an area of significant importance. You will be able to excel as a payments specialist in one of the most innovative and forward thinking companies in the world. What you'll do * Develop an in-depth knowledge of Spotify's data sources and payment systems to generate insights into payment performance and contribute to the global payment optimisation strategy. * Define, evaluate, dashboard and monitor key metrics to measure the impact of payment optimisation initiatives. * Support the wider Payments team with data-driven research and analysis on key initiatives and challenges. * Work on end-to-end projects to ensure your findings are executed and tested in a desired way * Work closely with Spotify's Payment Partners and Product, Engineering and Analytics teams to share insights and deliver joint projects as required. * Work closely with finance teams to provide insight and support forecasting and control of payment fees * Work either from our London or Stockholm office with regular travel between the two offices and other company locations. Who you are * 2+ years experience in a data analysis role, preferably in at least one e-commerce or payments organisation. * A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative field. * Experience manipulating and analyzing complex data with SQL, Python and/or R. * Experience with a visualisation tool such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, matplotlib, ggplot2 or similar. * Familiar with an analytics warehouse like Google BigQuery or Amazon Redshift is a plus. * An independent thinker, able to work autonomously, capable of taking on loosely defined problems and translating complex thinking into practical application for diverse audiences * A communicative person who values building strong relationships with colleagues and enjoys collaborating with others * You thrive in a fast-paced, high energy and dynamic environment. * You're a compelling storyteller who can communicate in succinct and inspiring ways to a variety of audience types to influence real world decisions. * Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills You are welcome at Spotify for who you are, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or what's playing in your headphones.
