Role Purpose The Compliance Monitoring Manager will play a key role in ensuring that Chetwood has fit-for-purpose systems and processes in place to manage regulatory risk and deliver fair customer outcomes. They will draw on a broad knowledge of retail banking/lending and financial crime regulation to deliver risk-based assurance activities and partner with key stakeholders in the business to deliver change and improve controls. Compliance is part the broader second line Risk function. We work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for our customers, colleagues and the company as a whole Responsibilities * Work with the Head of Compliance to produce and maintain the Bank's risk-based monitoring plan. * Own delivery of monitoring/assurance activities set out in the plan. * Effectively manage stakeholder relationships to agree meaningful actions and oversee their delivery. * Produce comprehensive documentation to support monitoring/assurance activities. * Produce monthly MI for ExCo and Board stakeholders * Coordinating and overseeing the schedule of Compliance activities resulting from internal and external (FCA/PRA) activities. * Support the Head of Compliance to deliver the over-arching departmental plan. Skills and experience * Expert knowledge in retail banking regulation, particularly BCOBS, CONC, SYSC * Strong knowledge of AML/CTF standards * Experience in defining a risk-based monitoring plan in a retail banking/consumer credit environment * Significant experience in conducting monitoring/assurance reviews * Strong stakeholder management skills * A pragmatic approach to risk management * Experience of digital banking/financial services would be a significant advantage Our Values Take considered risks | Be courageous | Look after each other | Find the customer | Own it | Be resourceful Apply for this Job
