Overview

Job Description

Here at Concrete we're making homelessness history, it's a big statement, but we're not alone in achieving it. We're part of the national movement tackling homelessness. As a Service Coordinator you'll be working with young adults, single parents and families living in our accommodation in the South of Cheshire East. You'll provide tailored support to help secure long-term housing so customers can live independently in the community. You'll be providing a range of practical support such as legal, housing, health and finance, working alongside other agencies to provide additional support, referring and signposting customers to relevant services. You'll manage and assign accommodation and making sure health and safety standards are met, help customers settle in their home and support them in sustaining their tenancy. We're looking for someone with experience of supporting adults, young people or families with complex needs such as substance misuse, homelessness and mental health. You'll also need a genuine understanding of people impacted by homelessness, with great communication and problem solving skills to provide the best support. The nature of this role means each day is different so you'll need to be flexible and adaptable, with some evening and weekend work required as well as an out of hours on call rota. The successful person for this role will need to be DBS checked. Help us to give those without a plan, voice or home to build concrete futures by tackling the issues that keep people from finding their own home. Closing date: 29 June 2020
