Are you an experienced Senior Digital Project Manager looking for a new challenge, enabling and delivering a wide a range of digital change and transformation across a large organisation? As part of our on-going commitment to the delivery of high quality, reliable services for our residents, Haringey Council is looking to appoint a Senior Digital Project Manager . Haringey uses the latest technologies to support and provide efficient services to a vibrant community of over 250,000 residents and businesses and enabling around 3,000 staff. Working in Digital Services means you will join a committed, diverse and ambitious team helping to make the borough a better place for all. In a team that places a high value on people and the expertise and potential they bring, you will be making a difference to citizens and businesses plus over 80 teams across the council including Customer Services, Adult Social Care, Children's Services, Housing and Environmental Services. Job Responsibilities You will be key to supporting the delivery of our digital strategy, driving innovation around moving services online and implementing technologies that will drive efficiencies and better engagement for our services and community. Working with the Programme manager and wider Digital Services team you will take ownership for the successful delivery of a range of digital projects. You will be trusted to deliver, be free to make decisions, and supported in your growth and development along the way. Working with colleagues from across the organisation, you will ensure solutions are fit for purpose and enable us to exploit new technologies to develop our services across the council. Core Skills The successful candidate will have: * Experience of managing medium and large digital change projects within fast-paced, large and delivery focused environments, using a variety of methodologies and techniques including Prince2 and Agile. * Experience of defining, documenting, and managing full project lifecycle within a complex environment from inception through to implementation, including resource, budget and change management. * Experience of building and maintaining collaborative relationships across organisational boundaries and stakeholder groups including internal and external partners to enable the smooth delivery of complex projects. * Experience of project management tools and techniques. * Experience of commercials, procurement, value for money and ROI assessments. * The ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues, and to write clear reports and other formal documentation for solution evaluations and deployments is essential.
