Job Description

Project/Program Management - M4 Manages multiple teams of project managers who are the primary contact for internal clients and groups within the organization for projects that are medium to large in scale. The team is responsible for end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation. Serves as a liaison between internal clients and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of medium scale to large scale projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Has regular contact with peers throughout the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations. Ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards. Proactively manages multiple teams of project managers. Acts as a subject matter expert and provides guidance on complex business or technical issues. Leads status meetings for major projects and facilitates risk mitigation and resolution of more complex issues. Directs recruitment efforts. Manages and develops teams to maximize their collective contributions. Motivates lower level managers to maximize their contributions and encourage professional growth. Assists in identifying business unit requirements. Creates project and process specifications and coordinates with project teams to ensure that high impact projects are on schedule and to budget. Manages multiple project management teams. Responsible for the achievement of multiple team goals and objectives. Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required. 10-15 years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in management preferred. Project Management experience preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred. -
