About the Tech Our technologies include, but are not limited to: SaaS and microservices based software design, Docker, React, PHP, Symfony, Magento, Composer, MySQL, Linux Bash Scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Git, VSTS Pipelines, Terraform, Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), ElasticSearch, Kibana, RabbitMQ and more. About the Role We require an experienced Application SupportAnalyst with a background in supporting software applications (rather than infrastructure), who is passionate about delivering customer service to the highest standards, ensuring all tickets entering the Service Desk are correctly triaged, resolved and/or escalated as necessary.This is a technical role and will involve working through complex issues in a fast-paced service desk environment. In addition, you will make an impact by: * Analysing the performance of the applications along with providing ad hoc and monthly reporting on Application performance * Collaboratingwith DevOps and Developers to ensure tickets progress through the relevant technical resolver groups in a timely fashion * Creating and maintaining technical documentation (Knowledgebase) and issuing replication and collection of logs * Contributing to Root Cause Analysis investigations and participating in Service Transition activities * Working in an ITIL, Agile and DevOps set of methodologies * Contributing to Out of Hours rota, currently once every four weeks(responding to critical issues within SLAs) Reporting to the Support Manager, this permanent role is based out of our Warwick/Leamington Spaoffice (home based to start)andprovides an opportunity to support exciting software projects for some of the biggest multinational car manufacturers and dealer networks.The Automotive teams are based from central London (Soho) and Warwick, with third-party off shore vendors. About You Havingextensive working experience and knowledge ofsupporting software applications and a hunger to work with the latest Cloud/DevOps (Azure, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes) technologies is key. Together with: * Experience of working within a Service Desk environment, ideally supporting SAAS solutions * Understanding of Cloud based hosting (Azure/AWS/GCP) * Working knowledge of Change and Release Management * Experience of working with an ITSM tool (Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy etc) * Understanding and experienceof all, or some of the following technologies: - PHP - React - JavaScript - Developer tools - API testing - HTTP - Relational Databases - NoSQL databases - Google Analytics - APM tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SolarWinds etc). It's agiven that you havestrong communication skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative and productively (which will likely be from home to start). Ideally, you will have an understanding (or even better practical experience) of working withinITIL,DevOps(CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker) and Agile practices, together withknowledge/passion forthe Automotive industry.
