THE ROLE The Functional Consultant is responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality implementation projects. You will have the responsibility for applying best practices for all implementation work whilst still following Kyriba implementation methodologies throughout the project phases. Deployment Execution * Implement business processes and system configuration necessary to meet client requirements * Effectively apply Kyriba methodology and enforce implementation standards * Support blueprint engagement and produce related collateral * Assist to identify and quantify project risks * Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately * Manage smaller projects independently - day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope * Maintain 90% utilisation rate Communication and Documentation * Understand and resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully * Simplify effective client meetings * Produce high-quality project documentation Client Management * Effectively set and manage clients' expectations * Develop lasting relationship with client personnel that foster client ties * Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions * Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships Functional Expertise Seek to develop and have a thorough understanding of Kyriba modules and capabilities and constraints to be able to deliver training sessions to clients on modules as required. Modules include: * Core Data * Connectivity * Core Cash Management * General Ledger Posting * General Ledger Reconciliation * Payments * Financial Transactions * Risk & Valuation * Bank Account Management * System Administration * Data Exchange Consultant Development * Seek and participate in development opportunities above and beyond the standard Kyriba training SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Location * London * Up to 50% travel involved Education/Qualification * Bachelor's degree, preferable in Business or Finance or relevant work experience Languages * Excellent standard of spoken and written English Character * Excellent communication skills with experience of dealing with external stakeholders * Disciplined and independent personal management skills - a self-starter who can work to deadlines and standards with minimum supervision * Focused on delivering an excellent service to our clients * Creative and analytical approach to problem solving * Strong work ethic * Ability to work under pressure * Proactive approach to work * Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team as well as independently * Ability to prioritise and re-prioritise where necessary Practical Experience * Proven track record of successful project implementations, preferably to external clients * Proven experience in treasury management and/or financial services * Previous experience in project/customer management * Experience in client services * Ability to build relationships both internally and externally * Proven capability of managing multiple clients and projects without it having an impact on the level of service CULTURE & VALUES At Kyriba, we value a strong work culture and sense of community and ownership among our global team.
