Privacy matters, and as a Senior Privacy Analyst you are an asset to F5's long term privacy objectives and our privacy work-streams. Our team handles operational risks related to personal and sensitive information assets. We continuously assess operations and develops policies, procedures and training; we execute projects and we support the business on new initiatives involving personal data. We will look to you to provide support and guidance to F5ers to ensure we are consistent and efficient in our Privacy Programme. In our team you will be a domain specialist for both internal and external business partners. Primary Responsibilities * In this role, you will collaborate with our Senior Privacy Manager and internal F5 teams to develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures on the collection, use and sharing of personally identifiable information. * This role, you will complete and maintain a repository of documentation required for privacy compliance. * You will create and implement our F5 Privacy Program and processes proactively. * Partner with the business to conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and ROPA reviews. * Support the delivery of workshops and training with the business and functional areas. * Maintain up to date knowledge on Global Privacy regulations. * Be proactive to propose new initiatives and creative ideas to improve the Privacy Programme. * Act as a real team player to support global and local privacy initiatives * Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Good work ethic and the capacity to fulfil responsibilities with limited supervision while maintaining effective communications with relevant internal partners. This includes researching, resolving, developing, evaluating and implementing effective solutions. * Able to review and evaluate the effectiveness of the privacy program. * Perform fact finding, review privacy issues and drive privacy compliance controls. * Can identify, research, investigate and evaluate known and potential privacy and compliance risks across our business. * Assist in the implementation of our privacy management framework, including training and awareness, monitoring, incident management and information lifecycle management. * Professional knowledge of privacy risk assessments and can conduct related ongoing compliance monitoring activities. Maintains an ongoing plan to address and close privacy gaps. * Capability to assess key business objectives, development concepts, proposed information collections, technology changes, and other initiatives being undertaken by F5 and can ensure implementation of privacy controls. * Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability collaborate with key partners on privacy issues, draft and implement privacy policies, procedures and requirements and maintain proper documentation, relevant records in a clear fashion. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree and progressive experience in compliance, privacy, data protection, security, risk management and/or auditing, or substantial relevant professional work experience. * Solid grasp of relevant EMEA privacy laws and regulations * Skills in collaboration and teamwork along with facilitation, analytical, communication (written and spoken), presentation, partner management skills. * A CIPP Certification is required. Physical Demands and Work Environment * Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. * Duties will utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material. * Duties may mean being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends). * Duties may require the travel via automobile or airplane: approximately 10-20% of the time spent traveling.
