Job Description
Manual Handling Coordinator Band 7 Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust Are you a dynamic and motivated clinician who already works in or alternatively is interested in moving into an education environment within the next phase of your career? We invite applications for the role of Manual Handling Coordinator to join our existing Education Training and Development Department as a key member of our Clinical training faculty. The role predominantly involves the regular planning, delivery and evaluation of a manual handling training curriculum along with assessment of competence both in simulated classroom environments and in within clinical settings. The post holder will also provide support for key trainers and workplace assessors across the integrated organisation. This role will also have a focus on governance reviewing incidents and supporting investigations and the development of actions plans and training needs in response to outcomes. There is a real opportunity to make an impact in the organisation by developing a service which meets the emerging learning needs of staff in the Trust.
