Working Night Support Worker Supported Living / Crisis Intervention - 10 ph Work as a Working Night Support Worker for a leading and respected local provider with exciting plans. The Company First Step Wild provide supported living and crisis intervention for children and young people. Our aim is to provide a bespoke service aimed at engaging the children and young people. Connecting emotion and speech and language through our activities and supported living enviroment to promote a bright and healthy life. First Step Wild Services invests heavily in the development of its staff. All staff will receive safeguarding training if required. We are also aiming to put some staff through other advanced qualifications over time. The Position We are currently recruiting for a Casual Working Night Support Workers to be part of a team offering a comprehensive residential supported living service to children and young people. The service is based within a short drive away from Hull city centre accessible vier public transport. We also try to car share where possible and depending on GOV advice (COVID-19) The aim being to ensure the physical, social and emotional well-being of the children/young people and assist in their positive holistic development and resilience. You will be responsible for actively safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children/young people in the home thorough the night whilst keeping up to date logs and compleating basic jobs . You will also be required to promote structure, boundaries and routines within the home. The working night shift starts at 2300hrs and finishes at 0800hrs the following day. Responsibilities: Provide Residential Care to Young people aged between 8 - 17 years Effectively log and keep records Be versatile and committed to learning Be reliable and flexible Demonstrate professionalism at all times Travel to various locations and settings within the local area at times. . Compleate night time checks and basic cleaning tasks.
