Type of vacancy Temporary Work pattern Full Time - Term Time Only Duration Maternity Cover Location including post code Larkfields Infant School, Coronation Road, Nuthall, NG16 1EP Salary or Hourly Rate Scale 3 19,171 - 19,745 pa FTE Advert text We are seeking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant to cover a maternity cover from September 2020. We are a happy, friendly and successful Infant with strong and supportive staff teams. We are committed to developing the whole child in a developmentally appropriate manner and have worked closely with the Early Excellence to champion Enquiry Based Learning. The children are motivated, well behaved and eager to learn. We are looking for a Teaching assistant who has: * A level 3 Qualification or equivalent * Experience of working with 4-7 year olds * Good English, Maths and Communication skills. * An understanding of trauma on young children * Positive strategies to support children with additional needs The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
