Mail Would you like to work for the UK's largest specialist innovation funding consultancy? Established in the UK in 2009, Leyton works with a wide range of companies across all industry sectors - from Agriculture to Physiotherapy, Construction to Yacht Building - to identify the most relevant innovation funding scenes for their business, and deliver maximum returns in tax funding. Function of the role The main responsibility of this role will be to generate new business via multiple sales and networking channels. These include face to face meetings, video conference calls and industry events, amongst others. An ability to think outside the box is an absolute must for this role. We provide a variety of tools, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, for you to source your own prospects. You will be expected to identify and approach your own targets, however our Sales Development team will also provide you with inbound marketing leads and set up meetings. With a vast number of industries and businesses in the UK potentially qualifying for innovation funding schemes, your targets are limited only by your imagination and curiosity. What the role involves: * Managing the full 360 sales cycle - Prospecting to Proposal. * Interacting professionally with decision makers across all industries, from SMEs to FTSE100 companies. * Travelling regularly within the UK, as is the norm with field based roles, along with Phone and Video conference meetings when working remotely or from home. * Working closely with other Leyton departments and business units to ensure all necessary steps are taken to deliver work to clients accurately and on time. * Meeting the target number of 20 meetings per month. Meetings are generated primarily via your own lead generation and also through our dedicated London, Manchester and Glasgow based Sales Development teams. * The ability to work autonomously and remotely as required. What we need from you: * Field sales experience within a solutions-based sales industry. * Outstanding communication skills; self-assured, articulate. * The ability to work confidently and independently, as well as being a team player. * A strong network of contacts within either Engineering, Science or Software would be advantageous. * A willingness to travel UK wide.
