Job Description

The purpose of the role is to support the organisation's growth and external communications agenda by developing cutting-edge thought leadership and research assets that differentiate us externally and drive impact across our audience groups e.g. clients, the media, investors and our people. The role will require delivering all elements of the thought leadership development process, from ideation through to research design and execution, data analysis and messaging/drafting. The role also requires working across the organisation to provide expert counsel and advice on thought leadership and research projects, helping to build capability across the network. Job Title: Senior Communications Analyst Job Description: This role reports to the Head of Strategic Communications and is a 12 month FTC based in London. Responsibilities * Propose and develop original ideas for thought leadership projects and deliverables that support our business strategy * Undertake rigorous data analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to identify trends, test hypotheses and present conclusions * Design project plans and research methods that ensure delivery on time and to budget * Draft compelling, provocative written deliverables for a variety of senior audiences (internal and external) * Monitor external trends in the industry/wider economy and develop relevant briefing material for Dentsu Aegis executives * Develop networks and relationships with teams and individuals across Dentsu Aegis Network to provide advice and technical expertise to enhance the quality and impact of thought leadership programmes * Develop practical toolkits and assets that enable up-skilling of teams and individuals across Dentsu Aegis Network * Provide logistical support to key events such as the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos, the Cannes Festival of Creativity and other related meetings * Develop briefing materials for Dentsu Aegis leaders to drive impact in workshops, panel sessions etc. * Ensure meetings maximise ROI and deliver impact that enhances our reputation and growth strategy * Drive a culture of best practice and new approaches to communications to ensure we are leaders in what we do * Contribute to communications toolkits to create robust communications frameworks for the Global Communications Network to drive consistent and best in class employee communications * Foster a culture of communications and collaboration across the Global Communications Network Who we are looking for? * Analytical rigour and intellectual excellence * Ability to tell stories in a variety of formats (written, video, presentations) using data * Professional background in consulting or think tank desirable but not essential * Curiosity about global economic and geopolitical trends and their impact on the business environment * Ability to develop strong working relationships in a matrix organisation and influence key stakeholders * Eye for visual design with ability to work with designers to deliver high quality content (including video) * Excel and PowerPoint - Advanced/Expert * Master's degree preferred What you'll get from us Dentsu Aegis Network is a fantastic place to work with many great benefits on offer including 25 days' annual holiday, Pension, Cycle to Work Scheme, and get your Birthday day off!
