Overview
Job Description
GCH is an independent housing association providing excellent housing management services to over 5,200 tenants and 260 leaseholders in Gloucester. We currently require an experienced General Builder with plastering skills to join our Property Care Team in and around the Gloucester area. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out appropriate general repairs, maintenance and improvements at GCH properties in an efficient and effective manner and provide exceptional customer service. You will undertake as directed general building maintenance work and associated tasks, to include work at heights, erection and use of access equipment, drainage clearance and all forms of repairs in order to meet work schedules. Candidates must have experience of general building trades and a minimum of NVQ level 2 qualification in plastering. This is a full time role, working 40 Hours per week, including an out of hours rota where appropriate.
