The programme is a high profile initiative which requires team members to demonstrate creativity and a collaborative approach to problem solving and play an active role in transforming the business. Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced business analyst to join the Operations TOM Programme and support the ABOR Data workstream. The successful candidate will be part of a team with responsibility for designing and implementing an enterprise data platform for accounting data "Consolidated ABOR" (Accounting Book of Record) to gather the accounting records of all our fund ranges in support of current and future ABOR based reporting needs including: Client Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Funds Under Management ("FUM") and look through use cases to support Finance, Marketing and Board reporting. The Consolidated ABOR will source and harmonise the accounting records from our key accountants including OEICS & SICAVs, Internal Life & Pension funds and Aladdin Accounting for our Investment Accounting records for the Segregated fund ranges and a number of niche accountants typically supporting funds investing in Private Assets and Real Estate. You will play a key role in the team driving the transformation as we move to being a more agile and scalable business working in collaboration with the wider multi functional and talented team to re-imagine and design the technical and operational capabilities for ABOR data management. Key Work Level Responsibilities Manager or Expert: * For people managers, accountable for managing and motivating others to ensure quality of delivery to customers and stakeholders * For technical specialists, accountable for delivering expert advice or service, using specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise * Applies judgement to deliver outcomes, evaluating a range of potential solutions, considering the impact for customers, cost and risk * Manages conflicts that may impact delivery * Challenges upwards given knowledge of delivery and awareness of complex systems and the broader picture * Identifies and anticipates need for changes to continuously improve quality and efficiency of output * Manages resources and risks using expert judgment, know-how and experience Key Responsibilities for this role: The ABOR Data Business Analyst is responsible for collating data requirements across ABOR based reporting use cases and supporting the analysis, design and delivery of the Consolidated ABOR Data solution - the capability to source, validate, harmonise, assure and expose ABOR data to end systems and consumers with security and reference data enrichment from market data sources. The successful candidate will be responsible for * Working with business representatives to shape future design and capture user stories for requirements * presentation materials for use in analysis, solutions development workshops and stakeholder updates * Facilitating workshops / meetings / interviews with business representatives * Creating deliverables and facilitating sign-off from business representatives * Undertaking analysis, capturing requirements and data dictionary to support data model and solution design of the platform * Communicating data requirements to fund accountants and working with them to identifying source data to be migrated * Translation and mapping of data requirements to the data model, specifying validation and data quality control r
