THIS ADVERT WILL BE WITHDRAWN WHEN A SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED Applications are invited for the post of Medical Secretary working for one of our Gynae Oncology Consultants within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology . Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate compassion, empathy and understanding as this can be a sensitive area of work. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Secretarial Team. This post will involve working for the Medical and Nursing team in providing a comprehensive, effective and efficient administrative service supporting the needs of this busy service by ensuring patient information is accurate and updated in a timely way and to provide effective communication to both patients and staff in order to ensure appropriate appointment booking and the smooth running of the various clinics. The ideal candidate must have a flexible 'can do' attitude, the ability to use their initiative with excellent communication/interpersonal and IT skills. The successful candidate will have strong administration and organizational skills, exemplary attention to detail, a passion for excellence and an ability to work well within a team.
