Job Description
NWAFT Maternity Services are committed to promoting normal births, and offering women safe, quality care with informed choices, when deciding where to give birth to their babies. The Midwifery Services within NWAFT Hospitals are exciting services to belong to. Since relocation to a purpose built maternity unit, increasing numbers of women are choosing Peterborough to birth their baby. We have developed our service with an increase in water births and through the raised profile of the co-located Midwifery Led Birth Unit. This enhances the choices we are able to offer the women choosing to access our service. NWAFT Hospitals serve a diverse population and strive to offer continuity of care to the women seeking Maternity care. We are looking for dedicated Midwives to cover Maternity Services within the Peterborough and Stamford areas. This is a rotational position with an on call element when working in the community NWAFT Maternity Services has all the elements of a successful, contemporary service with opportunities to develop professionally and experience varied and challenging situations, in a supportive and energised environment.
