Inside Teaming Sales Representative (German-speaking) - UK Position Overview The Inside Teaming Sales Representative (ITSR) drives key sales activities and provides sales support in alignment to all Enterprise Sales Executives (ESE) within their territory. They are responsible for closing new software sales opportunities that are derived from marketing qualified leads (MQLs) or formed from their own sales generated leads (SGLs) within the existing customer base. They work to close the opportunity independently or in tandem with the ESE or the channel partner sales representative. Other significant aspects of the ITSRs role include providing support for maintenance renewals, driving all aspects of the quotation process and managing the end-to-end forecast process. The ITSR represents the entire portfolio of erwin products and services and acts as the secondary point of contact with a set of existing customer accounts. Job Responsibilities Execute email or phone campaigns targeting existing end-user customers Articulate erwin value proposition & attach to pain points affecting existing end-user customers Establish initial professional relationships with key personnel in existing end-user customers Manage inbound existing end-user customer activity such as inquiries and leads derived from corporate marketing, erwin website, channel marketing, sale campaigns, etc. Assist with all key quotation process items including, but not limited to: special pricing, quote preparation, quote delivery and follow-up, etc. Work closely with ESE and channel partners to close new sales opportunities with existing end-user customers and resolve any concerns Manage subscription & maintenance renewal retention within the existing end-user customer set Coordinate the involvement of all necessary erwin personnel; including Solution Strategist, Senior Executives and Pre-Sales resources to meet targeted objectives Meet assigned targets for new product & services sales, as well as subscription & maintenance renewal conversion Drive an accurate and timely forecast process for the sales opportunities associated with the ISTR's territory Monitor opportunity progress from commencement to close Engage with key Gold-Diamond level partner sales representatives who are aligned to ISTR's territory Assist joint marketing and sales activities with partners that are aligned to the ISTR's territory Proactively assess, clarify and validate existing end-user customer's needs on an ongoing basis Promote awareness and adoption of all erwin solution offerings Actively drive existing end-user customer attendance to key erwin sales and joint erwin/partner events Demonstrate thought leadership by promoting erwin and industry trends by contributing to social media sites (i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) Keep complete records of end-user customer discussions Follow communication scripts on specific topics (when applicable) Actively use the erwin PowerPortal to enhance sales and solution learnings Performance Measurements * Achieves assigned quota for sales via prospect accounts * Completes and effectively implements sale plan * Completes training and development objectives Skills & Competencies Fluent in reading, writing and speaking German and English to diverse end-user audiences Experience in sales, preferably software sales Enterprise software, SaaS or Big Data experience is a huge plus Experience with enterprise account management or sales prospecting would be helpful Sales skills that create demand and successfully close opportunities with prospects Assertive self-starter with the ability to build new relationships and articulate erwin's business value & vision Disciplined and goal-oriented Persistence and positive attitude Solid planning and execution skills Must be able to effectively find, assess, and prioritize sales opportunities Strong tactical skills Proficient in most commonly used MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with CRM systems Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a business and/or technology field.
