Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following: * The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the design and implantation of product or system solution builds, deployments, and configuration activities. * Other responsibilities include working with business partners to gather requirements, prototyping, architecting, implementing/updating solutions, building and executing test plans, performing quality reviews, and triaging and fixing issues. * In this role, the DevOps Engineer must be able to adjust to constant business change; common types of changes include new requirements, evolving goals and strategies, and emerging technologies. * This position interacts, develops, engineers, and communicates collaboratively at the highest technical levels with clients, vendors, partners, and all levels of staff. Essential Functions * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously * Ability to communicate with people of varying levels of technical ability * Comfortable learning independently and asking for help * Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery * Document and design various processes; update existing processes * Work within an Agile framework (Scrum) Skills crucial to be successful in this role: * Familiarity with DevOps tools such as: * Source control (Bitbucket Cloud) and feature branching strategies * Ci/cd tools (AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy, Jenkins) * Infrastructure-as-code frameworks (Terraform) * Configuration Management (Ansible) * Scripting and programming languages (Bash, Java, JavaScript) * Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) * JIRA and Confluence * Monitoring and alerting solutions (CloudWatch) * Building, configuring, and maintaining solutions utilizing AWS Services * Knowledge of database administration is a plus Preferred Qualifications * 2+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for setup, configuration, and implementation of infrastructure and deployment pipelines * Flexible working skills to adapt to the changing code * Be comfortable moving from one area of software construction to bother, be it nitration, testing, releasing or deployment What you need to do now: If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV
