Senior PX Advisor - Retail This role will drive and support the delivery of our People Experience roadmap and plan, partnering our Retail Teams. It will suit an existing Senior People Advisor or an experienced People Advisor who is ready to step up. This role would suit an individual who is used to working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, where change is constant and flexibility is vital for success. Through taking ownership for your business area and projects, you will have the opportunity to influence people initiatives across ASOS. What you'll be doing... * Develop a solid understanding of your business area to identify strengths, weaknesses, challenges and opportunities from both a commercial and People Experience Team perspective. You will also support the PX Partner in helping to identify people strategies as well as implementing frameworks and objectives that will deliver results in line with our PX roadmap and our Retail Team's plans * Work with the PX Partners to act as an Advisor on operational HR issues at employee and manager levels through the full People Experience lifecycle * Support on a wide range of ER related meetings acting as note-taker and advisor * Support the PX Partners in providing managers with the right tools to ensure employee performance is optimised, identifying and facilitating appropriate interventions through the performance framework * Develop and maintain strong and trusted partnerships with managers, providing constructive challenges as well as acting as a sounding board and advisor * Support line managers with creative, tailored solutions to people challenges * Understand PX Team tools and policies, partnering with business areas to ensure best practice, whilst maintaining a pragmatic approach * Collaborate with PX Team centres of excellence to help support the successful delivery on all annual processes for your business area * Collaborate with PX Team centres of excellence to support the design and implementation of relevant initiatives and tools that meet business needs * Produce, analyse and share data to identify trends and assist with recommendations on how to address challenges and opportunities * Understand and identify areas of change within your business area and assist with managing these as effectively as possible * Take ownership of your role in driving the delivery of key People Experience Team projects and support the wider team with projects * Take a proactive approach to professional development for yourself and others, using internal and external networks and resources to advance and share knowledge * Act as a mentor for PX Administrators and Advisors, providing support and guidance where required * Be an ambassador for the People Experience team What Success Looks Like: * Living and breathing our ASOS behaviours, every day * Showing a passion for working as an HR professional within a creative environment * Responding in a timely manner to people requirements from the business * Thriving in a fast-paced environment, adapting to rapid change * Taking a hands on, proactive and solutions driven approach * Building trusted relationships and strategic partnerships with key stakeholders * Becoming a respected member of the People Experience Team and your client group leadership/ management teams, acting as a positive role model * Consistently generating new ideas and initiatives, being proactive in suggesting positive change * Developing a deep knowledge and understanding of your business area to provide day-to-day operational and developing your capability to provide longer term strategic support * Having clear and concise communication skills We'd love to meet someone with... * Previous experience as a People Advisor in a fast paced environment * Experience in handling employee relations cases, * Experience in building strong relationships with teams and stakeholders * Experience and confidence in challenging as well as supporting managers * Experience of applying best practice and a commercial outlook to people issues Previous experience supporting head office retail functions especially across Buying, Merchandising and Design * A solid commercial understanding of a Retail business, how the product life cycle works and how the different departments interlink with each other * Experience managing headcount across large populations of similar roles (specifically in Buying and/or Merchandising) in a constantly changing environment * Fun, team player who works collaboratively for the success of the wider team * Deals with confidential information with tact and diplomacy,
