Account Executive - LexisNexis Risk Solutions - London(Bishopsgate) This is a sales position thatexists to acquire and grow revenue in new sources through sales of LexisNexisRisk Management products and solutions in an assigned territory. It isanticipated that you will insure and grow this revenue stream via expertstrategic deployment of resources and spearhead the penetration of RISKsolutions through the enterprise within your assigned territory. Accountabilities: Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue objectives. Develop and implementplans which identify sales strategies, assess revenue potential, and outlinetargeted activities to maximize revenue opportunities and penetrate market withRISK products and solutions Develop clear and thorough sales plans for each of the assigned accountsdetailing all relevant information about an account, its industry, and itsspecific RISK history so that you can strategically target your efforts todetermine additional product or solutions LexisNexis RISK can provide Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships at all levels, and actas liaison between sales support and our customers in order to provide superiorservice and solutions Create and implement effective account/territory plans that include; developingand implementing a sales strategy considering new business growth, managing allresources necessary to drive new business; forecasting revenue; developing keycontacts and business relationships within a new account including influentialindividual and high level decision makers Develop research analysis techniques to determine customer prospects that RISKproducts and solutions can meet prospective customer business needs. Contactthese prospects and determine the business needs, decision makers to penetratenew business relationships Develop strategic sales plan using business analysis tools to identify andtrack revenue trends, recognize sales opportunities, target specific salesactivities, and analyse competitive threats Understand the value of RISK products and pricing as well as competitiveofferings and articulate RISK benefits in a manner meaningful to a customer Manage customers, clients and prospective clients with clear communication andneeds analysis Clearly demonstrate your understanding of LexisNexis pricing, administrativeprocedures, and organization to effectively answer clients questions orimplement solutions in a timely fashion Maintain a current understanding ofRISK competitor offerings (i.e., price, product, service, or solution) so thatyou can effectively sell the advantages of RISK over that offered by itscompetitors Formulate a professionaldevelopment plan with your manager with respect to internal/externaleducational programs so that you knowledge can be leveraged with your assignedterritory Qualifications BS/BA or equivalent proven sales experience, insurance experience preferred Work experience in the professional sales environment desirable Strongoral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills Strong organizational and forecasting skills Understanding of the corporate and/or professional research process and havethe ability to quickly develop an in depth understanding of RISK products andservices and how they apply to the customer's needs Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professionaldemeanour, business maturity, and technical (PC and applications) knowledge This position requires travelwhich includes overnight travel as much at 40-60% travel requirements LexisNexis Risk Solutions, andRELX Group, are committed to being an equal opportunities employer.
