The Disabilities Trust is a leading national charity, providing innovative care, rehabilitation and support solutions for people with profound physical impairments, acquired brain injury and learning disabilities as well as children and adults with autism. We are currently recruiting Rehabilitation Support Workers for Graham Anderson House, Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality and delivering the best possible services for our customers. We are looking for highly motivated individuals. The role: As a Rehabilitation Support worker, you will provide support to our service users appropriate to their individual needs. You will ensure completion of rehabilitation plans for each user, in order for them to be as independent as possible. You also will ensure that our service Users have maximum involvement in their own activities and decision making. The ideal candidate will have: * Excellent communication skills * Willingness to learn * Be motivated and flexible * Most importantly, candidates will have professional insight to meet the needs of service users with complex needs and challenging behavior. This role provides immense job satisfaction within a busy and varied environment, working with a range of health and social care professionals. As one of our Rehabilitation Support workers you will be paid a competitive hourly rate of 9.75 p/h plus, an additional 1.00p/h on weekends & Bank holidays.
