Job Description
DYNAMICS 365 PROCESS AND SOLUTION ARCHITECT is a key component of the Business Process Improvement (BPI) Team. Principal Team objectives are the strategical improvement of the efficiency of the company's processes, as well as managing the systematic quality and effectiveness of business operations. This position is instrumental in enabling the team to achieve these objectives by handling and supporting business requirements during their lifecycle, from discovering the needs, through re-engineering of processes and architecting solutions of various complexities, to development and release of solutions in line with defined project management plan and change strategy. Solutions are largely centred on re-engineering processes then automation and streamlining using Dynamics 365 as the key information management system within Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe Ltd across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. General Responsibilities: As a Dynamics 365 Technical and Solution Architect * Architect overall solution design to ensure that it is fit for purpose and is also responsible for ensuring that Functional Consultant has a solution that is suitable and viable for their respective areas of functionality. * Overseeing and advising on all technical activities/solution development and is accountable for ensuring that all development work is completed and tested to satisfy the Solution Design. * Working with the IT Infrastructure team to ensure that the design of any hardware configuration and infrastructure requirements are specified, and correct. * Advising on the most appropriate data migration strategy, working with the Data Migration Lead, and ensuring that all data required for live operation is available within the Dynamics solution. * Maintains knowledge of third party software vendors to leverage complementary offerings and effectively compare and contrast solutions. * Provides current best practices and solution alternatives as part of functional or technical design documents. * Matching solutions with the corporate environment, and meeting stakeholders' requirements. * Supporting project management by accounting for project constraints (technology, quality, time, cost and resources) Business Process Re-engineering Tasks * Conduct analysis on As-Is process logic to identify areas for improvement. * Re-engineer processes to leaner To-Be processes that are aligned with stakeholders elicited needs, and map them (using BPMN 2.0 standard) with all necessary attributes such as: triggers, end states, tasks, sub-processes, RACI and other business roles. * Approve To-Be process content with affected business unit directors and subject matter experts (SME's). * Work with Document Quality team to document To-Be processes within company standard templates, and acquire sign-off. Business Process Improvement Responsibilities Needs Elicitation Tasks * Prepare for needs elicitation by defining session scope (stakeholders, processes), select appropriate techniques (interviews, workshops, etc.), prepare supporting material and setup meeting logistics. * Conduct needs elicitations by understanding current situation (accurate as-is process mapping is a key technique), collect and negotiate valid needs. * Manage and monitor stakeholder' engagement and ensure interaction is productive and serves common objectives. * Deliver summaries and playback to stakeholders the gathered information for accuracy and consistency during sessions, and communicate documented information afterwards. * Requirements Lifecycle Management Tasks * Trace requirements by transforming needs into user stories and designs in Azure DevOps, with accurate relationships and classification (is it process logic/definition related improvement or system/dynamics 365 improvement). * Maintain high accuracy of requirements, by completing key attributes such as description, acceptance criteria and states. * Prioritize requirements by identifying prioritization factors such as dependencies, potential benefits and efforts associated. * Assess changes to requirements and evaluate implications. * Approve requirements by obtaining agreement on and approval of requirements and designs for business analysis work to continue and solution construction to proceed Business Process Re-engineering Tasks * Conduct analysis on As-Is process logic to identify areas for improvement. * Re-engineer processes to leaner To-Be processes that are aligned with stakeholders elicited needs, and map them (using BPMN 2.0 standard) with all necessary attributes such as: triggers, end states, tasks, sub-processes, RACI and other business roles. * Approve To-Be process content with affected business unit directors and subject matter experts (SME's). * Work with Document Quality team to document To-Be processes within company standard templates, and acquire sign-off.
