Job Description

DYNAMICS 365 TECHNO-FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT is a key component of the Business Process Improvement (BPI) Team. Principal Team objectives are the strategical improvement of the efficiency of the company's processes, as well as managing the systematic quality and effectiveness of business operations. This position is instrumental in enabling the team to achieve these objectives by handling and supporting business requirements during their lifecycle, particularly by development and release of solutions for both functional and non-functional requirements of various complexities, in line with defined project management plan and change strategy. Solutions are largely centred on re-engineering processes then automation and streamlining using Dynamics 365 as the key information management system within Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe Ltd across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. General responsibilities: * Responsible for producing the Test Approach, and associated plans, and ensuring that all items and activities are executed to the required standard, including liaising with Solution Architect. * Co-ordination of test activity, and escalation of test issues, risks and concerns to the Project Management team. * Contribute to the creation of the Test Approach, and associated test plans and reports, * Support business specialist testing activities by writing useful testing scripts that are in line with key business scenarios and the new to-be processes. * Escalation of test issues, risks and concerns to Change and Project Manager. * Ensuring that all testing activities are carried out to the required standard, including both test scripts and test execution, and that all User Acceptance Testing exit criteria are met prior to sign-off. Solution Building and Development Tasks * Implementation of solution, including functional, non-functional and reporting requirements. * Ensuring that all development work executed against identified gaps adhere to industry Business Process Re-engineering Tasks * Conduct analysis on As-Is process logic to identify areas for improvement. * Re-engineer processes to leaner To-Be processes that are aligned with stakeholders elicited needs, and map them (using BPMN 2.0 standard) with all necessary attributes such as: triggers, end states, tasks, sub-processes, RACI and other business roles. * Approve To-Be process content with affected business unit directors and subject matter experts (SME's). * Work with Document Quality team to document To-Be processes within company standard templates, and acquire sign-off. As a Dynamics 365 Consultant * Specify, model and verify user story into detailed requirements and designs using a variety of analysis and modeling techniques to meet high quality standard. * Validate requirements and ensure they support the delivery of value. * Identify solution design options, analyze potential 'pros and cons' for each and recommend optimal solutions. * diagnosing the requirements for their particular work stream and the mapping of processes to the Dynamics solution, and also responsible for articulating any gaps where the standard Dynamics functionality cannot satisfy business requirements and specifying any custom development that needs to be brought within project scope. * On larger engagements, take the role of 'Work Stream Lead' to co-ordinate efforts for that particular area. * Participate in implementation customization and configuration for D365 solutions Other Duties and Responsibilities: * Communicate effectively with all levels of employees. * Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times * Develop good working relationships with other departments. Person Specification: * Education: Proven related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Graduate level education / Qualified by experience * Fluency in business English * Computer knowledge and mastery of common software packages for office work * BS Degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline; * Proven experience developing MS
