If you have great ideas on how we can do this, please apply. *** This is an 18 month fixed term contract *** You'll have the following responsibilities Design, build and implement a new pan-Group processes to ensure we can identify those people we need to reskill and retain and work with Training and other units to ensure this can occur Design, build and implement a more effective processes to move people on who do not fit the long-term skills requirements of the business To optimise the Group's spend on redundancy payments by looking at alternative ways to reduce the overall cost, improve our colleagues' experiences on exiting the business and to enable us to better align our people to future roles in order to meet the MTP profiles Be the thought leader within the Group on outplacement services - where are the trends going and what can we do to use these services to mitigate assumed redundancy costs in the MTP Provide the input into the training teams so that they know what content needs to be created to support the relevant re-training Provide input to the Performance Management teams to help them understand how we can identify potential longer term performance issues to help the individual and their line manager intervene earlier You'll have the following skills & experience Employee Relations/ Outplacement Expertise- the role will need strong expertise in Employee Relations/ Outplacement as we will need to work with the ER team on any proposed changes (subject to necessary consultations) to employee terms. Change Management: In depth experience designing change processes esp. in the colleague experience space Good knowledge of future skills/ retraining approaches. Work out the predicted expenditure on retraining, outsourcing and redundancy will be very material (Group P&L impacting). Data Analysis: The analysis needs to be heavily evidence based and ensure that at all times we are data compliant. The person needs to be able to mine insights from data.
