Support Desk Apprentice This is a newly created position within the Operations team in which you will be the primary point of contact for our internal IT systems used to run the business. You will be responsible for the day to day management of a range of applications and software solutions used across all functional areas. This will involve working closely with colleagues in the Operations department and the wider FINBOURNE team to ensure that internal IT systems are operating effectively and are set up to scale as the business continues to grow. A key element of the role will be responding to and the resolution of internal support queries. Given the nature of the role and our culture, you will work closely with colleagues across all departments, including Sales, Finance, Operations, HR, Product and Engineering to ensure that are internal IT systems are set up to support all areas of the business. This role will provide an exceptional opportunity for the candidate to learn about the internal workings of a fast-paced financial technology firm and gain exposure to a wide range of applications and software. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Job title: Support Desk Apprentice Location: London, UK Salary: 15k - 18k Closing date for applications: 30 June 2020 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Key responsibilities: * Primary point of contact for IT systems used by internal departments including Sales, Finance, Operations, HR, Product and Engineering. * Responsible for ongoing management of applications and software used internally within the business. This will include management of our Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics suite. * Management of software licenses and where necessary external relationships with software suppliers. * Support project-based initiatives to ensure that our internal IT systems continue to support the business as it continues to grow. * Ensure that processes and controls are in place to safeguard our requirements around systems access and entitlements. * Procurement of IT hardware required to support the business. What skills, experience and qualifications we require: * Positive attitude with a genuine passion for IT. * Ability to deliver under pressure whilst maintaining good attention to detail. * Self motivated with a desire to learn and take on new challenges. * Ability to communicate effectively with people of varying levels of seniority. * Ability to build effective working relationships both Internally to the organisation and externally. * Has the equivalent work experience or is qualified in - Post secondary education in science, maths, computing or related subjects - Experience working with IT support in a helpdesk function ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ About FINBOURNE FINBOURNE Technology was founded in 2016 with the mission to reduce the cost of investing and increase transparency for everyn one.
