As a member of our sales team, you will be on the frontlines - building excitement and generating demand for our unique services - while partnering with solutions experts to achieve the desired end. As part of the team, you will directly contribute to our customers' success stories as well as to Mastercard's positioning as a payments services leader. All About The Role: The Senior Managing Consultant for Sales & Servicing leads business development and sales for Data & Services in UK and Ireland. This person will drive the growth of our Retail & Commerce customer segment (e.g. retailers, airlines, hotels, consumer & packaged goods companies). Key responsibilities include: Full ownership of Data & Servicing business with assigned clients, on-going service of solutions and platforms provided to clients and continuous pipeline management Ownership of the sales process from prospecting to executing commercial contracts Working with Mastercard account managers and clients to identify new business opportunities, communicate opportunity areas to key clients, ensure alignment among stakeholders and manage dependencies Identification of client's pain points, root causes and potential solutions Understanding of client's organizational systems and taking a considered approach to problem solving for the client's unique situation Thoughtful approach to creating relevant and customized solutions for our clients leveraging various Mastercard Data & Services capabilities and assets Writing well-structured and persuasive proposals Building effective working relationships across management levels in client organization Playing a significant role in formal and informal presentations to internal and external stakeholders Development of Intellectual Capital in Special Interest Groups at Mastercard Active participation in recruiting, training and developing others Education Needed: Undergraduate degree required MBA or relevant post graduate degree (beneficial but not critical) All About You: Solid track record for delivering objectives Experience with selling complex solutions to large organizations Practical experience in the retail and commerce space and/or consulting experience in retail and commerce from a top tier consulting firm or a niche consultancy is desirable Experience in payments and cards business is an advantage Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and as an individual contributor Entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills _Mastercard is an inclusive Equal Employment Opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law._ _If you require accommodations or assistance to complete the online application process, please contact_ _reasonable.accommodation@mastercard.com_ _and identify the type of accommodation or assistance you are requesting.
