Job Description

The post holder will work as part of a dynamic Facilities Senior Management team in supporting and enabling the continuing transformation to a high-quality modern department with new approaches in the provision of Facilities services to our internal and external customers. Ensuring that GMMH Hospital and premises where care or services are delivered are clean and safe is an essential component in the provision of effective healthcare. The post holders role is essential in providing the safe and clean setting for excellent practice and is fundamental in assisting a patients recovery and supports the prevention, minimisation and or control of healthcare associated infection. The post holder is charged with delivering the Healthcare Industry standards in providing clean and safe environments in all Trust buildings and Environments (PAS 5748, 2014), and GMMG Trust Cleaning and is implemented operationally and subject to effective monitoring in order to give assurance that environments are clean and safe for service users, staff and visitors. The post holder has the responsibility to ensure that all contracts and SLAs deliver exceptionally high standards and value for money. Establishing a spirit of partnership and co-operation with external service providers but able to assertively challenge and hold to account for non performance against the standards required.
