Our multi-award winning stroke unit is looking to appoint a Consultant Stroke Physician with an option to pursue a special interest in another medical field. This is an excellent opportunity for a new CCT-holder to experience consultant practice in a supportive environment, and to develop or bring experience to cutting edge medicine for the future. This post is permanent and required to commence as soon as possible with a job plan consisting of 10 PAs plus 1 additional programmed activity. However there is scope for altering the job plan to suit the right applicant while meeting service needs. Potential applicants are encouraged to discuss this with the Clinical Lead: we expect consultants to work with each other, the stroke service lead and the Clinical Director to adjust their job plan in line with the needs of the service and their own areas of particular expertise.
