Job Type Architects, Engineers and Surveyors Group Prosperity, Development and Frontline Services Division Highways and Streetcare Grade Grade 11 Specific Salary 34,788 Contract Type Temporary Full Time Advert Details Project Officer - Clerk of Works This post sits within Strategic Investment Projects Team who are delivering Cross Divisional Strategic Capital projects for the service, to deliver its Corporate Plan objectives. We are seeking to appoint a suitable person to this new role within the Group to assist the Team in the delivery of a portfolio of projects to time, within the allocated budget, and with a specific emphasis to an expected quality by undertaking the role of a project Clerk of Works and associated supervision duties. It is essential that applicants have extensive experience within a Construction Project environment, and in particular site supervision and inspections, whilst undertaking a supportive role with contract administration, and to carry out health and safety responsibilities in accordance with the Division's Health & Safety Responsibilities document. The applicant will also be expected to assist the Team in pre-contractual information gathering, preparation of contract documentation and building contract tendering processes. The hours of work are 37 per week and may be worked in accordance with the Council's flexible working hours' scheme. The post will be based at Sardis House, Pontypridd. The ability to travel throughout the County Borough is necessary to meet the requirements of the post.
