Job Description

We are looking for an IT Test Manager will be responsible for enterprise wide testing and quality assurance capability within Unipart's Logistic Technology IT Function. IT Test Manager Responsibilities: • Maintain the IT test strategy, test quality framework and supporting standards and policies to ensure the most cost effective, timely and appropriate risk-based testing approaches are utilised to fulfil commercial requirements • Work with the IT Delivery Manager as well as development leads to drive continuous improvement of testing in the organisation • Provide best practice advice and guidance to other non-testing resource (e.g. for UAT) and maintain an understanding of industry trends in testing • Manage the Test Team, ensuring the ongoing provision of quality test services that align with best practice • Engage with clients test teams to ensure relevant and cost effective testing is put in place • Be responsible for guiding and assuring test activities, ensuring alignment with the overall test strategy, quality framework and standards and policies IT Test Manager Requirements : • Experience of leading a test capability that utilises both onshore and offshore testers • Experience of testing in Waterfall • Establishing and revising enterprise IT test strategies, test quality frameworks and best practice standards and policies • Experience of using relevant test tools including ALM, HP QC and delivery tools such as Jira About Unipart Group: You may remember Unipart as the company that revolutionised the automotive parts industry in the 1970s.
