Package Description Head of IT - Salary dependent upon experience plus car allowance We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and commercially focused Head of IT to join us in our busy but friendly Support Centre based in Rubery, South Birmingham. Reporting into the CFO you will be responsible for the IT Strategy, Infrastructure and Systems development and maintenance. This is a challenging role within an ever changing and growing business that will require a combination of hands on support as well as strategy development and team management. This role is based from our Support Centre based in Rubery, South Birmingham however, UK travel to our services will be required dependant upon business needs. Accomplish are a specialist, outcome focused provider of support for people with Mental Health needs, Learning Disabilities, Autism and Acquired Brain Injuries. We work in partnership with commissioners to deliver responsive, flexible, specialist support in therapeutic, registered residential and supported living settings across England and Wales. Our individual support plans aim to provide the people we support with more choice and control over their own lives. As Head of IT you will be responsible for: * The overall smooth and consistent running of all IT and communication systems * Day to day management of the IT Team * Managing the business help desk, creating and reporting on key performance KPIs * Clear and concise communication with the business for all aspects of IT and communication systems * Support robust data security and compliance with both GDPR and the national data protection and security regulations in social care * Implementing software and hardware upgrades * Negotiating and managing key suppliers for all IT and Communications systems * Identifying new technology opportunities that we can implement across our business * Ownership of the group's IT budget including identifying cost efficiencies and ensuring value for money on all IT spend We are looking for a Head of IT who is: * Experienced in leading an in-house IT function * Familiar with cyber security best practices and maintaining Cyber Essentials Plus certification * Familiar with the NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit * A strong manager who can develop and challenge members of the team * Experienced in VM Ware and a virtual desktop environments across locations. * Self-motivated and has high quality standards to deliver results and meet deadlines * An excellent communicator with fantastic interpersonal skill * Able to build strong working relationships across the business * Experienced in managing suppliers, budgets, and appraising costs In return you will benefit from: * A competitive salary plus car allowance * Annual leave - 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays * DBS Check - we cover the cost of your DBS check and annual renewal * Wellbeing Support, Advice and Guidance - via our Employee Assistance Program though an online portal or over the telephone * Staff Referral Scheme - earn 200 for referring a friend into a support worker position and 1,000 for a nurse position * Employee of the Month - each month we recognise staff from each area of the business for their hard work and commitment * Long Service Awards - receive 2 weeks extra annual leave and 2 weeks' pay for reaching 10 years' service! * Health Scheme - employees can opt into paying for a cash healthcare plan through their salary.
