We are currently working with an established family run business based in Falkirk who through business re-structure, have identified the requirement of an experienced, and creative marketing manager to join them. Although this role doesn't hold any personnel management responsibilities, you will be required to oversee the full marketing function, working alongside the marketing assistant who focuses on the Social media and communications aspect of the department. This role would suit someone who would ejoy and excel working in a very visual and creative, environment working with live and artificial flowers and displays. You would be working in markets and with customers where it is all about how nice everything looks. Plants, flowers, greenery etc being used to make environments more visually attractive. Clients like to be involved from inital concept through to delivery so you must feel comfortable working closely with your client base. Requirements * Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company's unique "voice" * Ensuring consistent marketing communication activities are carried out across all channels * Able to take a new product to market quickly and effectively * Execute both traditional and innovative marketing strategies and demonstrate good ROI * Create and execute a marketing plan that aligns with the company vision * A solid understanding of both online and offline marketing best practice * Creative, innovative, and as all our products are very visual, a keen eye for design * Familiar with the HubSpot marketing platform would be desirable * Able to analyse, interpret and influence all main marketing analytics / statistics * Solid understanding of SEO, CRO, CMS, web design, PPC, video, etc * Be responsible for all brand assets and ensure consistent on-brand tone of voice * Continually test and improve all activities In order to be considered for the role, you must hold the below skills and personal attributes: * Proven experience within a simlar role * Demonstratable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.) * Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods * A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities * Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities * Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels * Degree in marketing, communications or relevant field * Holds a positive, cheerful and optimistic mindset with a can-do attitude * Excellent copywriting skills and an ability to clearly articulate value for our customers * A great team player - able to build excellent relationships particularly between sales and marketing * Happy to work within a small SME business * An interest in flowers/floristry or horticulture would be an advantage * Due to my clients rural location, a valid drivers license and own transport is essential to the role.i Benefits * Salaries up to 30,000 per annum DOE * Monday - Friday 07:30 -16:30 (flexibility available to accommodate both full-time & part time applicants) * Free on-site parking facilities * 20 days holiday + 8 days BH * Pension * You will also benefit working in very attractive, modern building flooded with natural light filled with lots of beautiful plant displays in an attractive rural setting
