Talent Acquisition Advisor (UK and Ireland) Reporting to: HR Director Location: Glasgow Head Office The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for managing the entire life cycle recruitment process for Capitol Foods, Matthew Algie and Tchibo Coffee International businesses housing over 450 employees including; resourcing, interviewing and set up of new starters Key activities Recruitment - Sourcing of staff for all departments within Tchibo via online job boards campaigns and headhunting Recruitment - Utilising Social Media as a method for talent acquisition, via LinkedIn and Company website Interviewing - Carry out first/second stage interview Talent Acquisition - coordination and set up of interviews with the relevant hiring managers HR administration: set up of new starter personnel filed, both hard copy and electronic and creation of job descriptions Create and analyse personality profiling assessments through our provider Thomas International HR branding, compliance and communication Providing a consultative approach; specialist advice and guidance to managers Implementation of role To work within the recruitment budget guidelines To develop a candidate pool for all roles Design and implement an effective recruitment strategy to ensure low turnover and retention of staff Keep updated and to work within UK employment legislation guidelines Key Responsibilities: Recruitment: Partner Head Office business functions with the end to end management of all contract and permanent recruitment requirements Drive efficient, cost effective methods for attracting high calibre talent with direct hiring methods, as well as working in partnership with our specialist recruitment consultancies CV Screening, assessment, selection, offer management and administration in line with the HR SLA's Ensure candidates experience a thorough and fair selection process with the Company Supporting and coaching line managers with selection methods and support in interviewing, psychometric testing and running assessment centres as appropriate, as well as providing solid recruitment advice and support Working closely with the relevant people to deliver on their people planning strategies Act as a recruitment specialist for escalated queries within the HR department HR Administration: Creation of offer letter, contract of employment and starter forms HR reporting and analysis of starters and leavers: accurately record and monitor all data for reporting purposes Obtaining references for new starters and ensuring these are sufficient Creation of job descriptions Monitor and review recruitment spend and time to hire statistics and continually seek improvement HR Branding, Compliance and Communication Employee Records: maintain accurate employment records that meet data protection and corporate standards Management: Ensure effective management and administration of all employee records and payroll data including budgets to data protection and corporate standards Build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels in the Company Skills / Knowledge Essential: Solid background in recruitment A good knowledge of social media and networking sites Microsoft skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Desirable: CIPD qualified or equivalent qualification FMCG or retail industry experience HR Background Personal Attributes Relationship management Excellent communication skills Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills Be able to deliver initiative and help develop staff training programs Good time management skills Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Innovative problem solver Strong attention to detail Various competitive company benefits Equal Opportunities: We are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all staff and job applicants.
