The Role We are building out our QA function and looking for a Team Lead to take ownership for all QA activity and report to the CTO. The QA function will be covering manual and automated functional testing in addition to performance testing and potentially some devops support so the role will require experience in these key areas. The Responsibilities * Ownership of the QA process within the business * Working closely with managers within the technical department to optimise software quality * Creation of test plans and scripts to support automated and manual testing * Development of automated tests for both client and server-side functionality using appropriate tools * To perform manual testing as required * To report defects clearly and concisely to the development team adhering to the relevant business processes * To report on test activity to senior stakeholders as required * Championing quality within the software development team * To assist with configuration of software monitoring and alerting tools The Skills We are looking for a highly experienced tester with knowledge across manual and automated test approaches. We are a progressive business who use latest technologies and innovate in our space - we need someone who can keep up with this, who is naturally forward thinking and innovative with their approaches to testing.
