EXTEND YOUR POTENTIAL IN A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS In this position, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with the Project Controls Director. Your primary tasks in our team will be to prepare and develop schedules for a variety of large multi discipline schemes or smaller projects, where the ability to prioritise competing demands will be key. On a day-to-day basis you will: * Prepare and develop schedules in conjunction with Project Managers together with preparing schedule updates and reports as required under the contract * Highlight trends delays and issues within the programme and propose mitigation measures and ensure programme related issues are addressed in accordance with the contract * Analyse and report schedule progress and trends * Assist management, project managers and colleagues to understand and buy into the planning and scheduling function. * Recognise and understand competing business requirements within the plans and make recommendations for the overall good of the business * Assist the Project Controls team with evaluating schedule impacts arising from change and risk mitigation COWI is a leader within our field because our employees are leaders within theirs. To succeed in this position, we believe that you should have proven P6 planning experience and possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Furthermore, you shall: * Hold degree or diploma in engineering or related discipline or demonstrable equivalent experience * Possess significant planning and scheduling experience in large multi discipline civil engineering projects (tunnelling experience preferred) and have an in-depth working knowledge and hands on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project * Be commercially Aware with a good knowledge of contracts and Earned Value analysis * Be able to develop programmes independently with strong capabilities in progressing, trending, forecasting and analytical reporting * Possess excellent English written and verbal communication skills * Be self-motivated with the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?
