Vacancy: Injection Mould Toolmaker Location: Doncaster Salary: Competitive Salary + Benefits Hours: Mon - Thurs 07:00 - 15:30, Fri 07:00 - 15:00 Our Client: Our client is a fast paced, global manufacturing business based in the heart of Doncaster. Job Purpose The maintenance and repair of Injection mould tools, to preset schedules. Key Accountabilities * All aspects of health and safety. * The disassembly, clean and assembly of injection mould. * Using date given by production repair or replace damaged Mould parts. * Monitor and replace where needed hot runner parts. * Maintaining cavitation to 95% and above where possible. * The recording of all maintenance data and repairs into the ould history. * Reporting any further work or mould parts need for future repairs. * Insuring all general Tool room equipment is maintained and in good safe working order. * Controlling the need of spares, O rings and other items needed for the maintenance of the moulds. * Liaising with all members of the team on problem solving and quality. * Maintaining company standards and housekeeping. Other Functions * Turning, Milling and Grinding enabling mould alterations and part manufacture. * Troubleshooting and solving problems. * Modifications to mold parts. * Giving assistance to R&D projects. * Help review tooling improvements. * Assist with team development and training. Personal Specification * Must be an apprentice trained Toolmaker with relevant qualifications. * Should have experience in the maintenance of injection mould tools with a minimum of 2-3 years experience. * Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings. * The ability to work as a team member in multi skilled and fast moving manufacturing environment. * Good computer and numeracy skills. * Flexible approach to overtime working as set by the company In return for you will receive a competitive salary & benefits package.
