Job Description
: Kaizen Kulture are seeking a London based Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Consultant required to work within a Claims programme, alongside a PM and Business Analyst, to identify areas of improvements/efficiencies & 'to-be' processes across the Claims domain as part of a larger transformation portfolio. Available for a 12 month contract We are looking for a subject matter expert in the Financial Service sector particularly Insurance regarding the application Lean & Agile improvement methodologies focusing around underwriting and claims processes in the London market to support a number of work streams related to simplifying, standardising and informing the automation of Insurance products are received into our client's business and flow through the underwriting function and return to the customer. Responsibilities: * Working with functions and project teams to set up and facilitate process analysis workshops including findings report out that enable current state process design to be understood and improvement areas identified. * Using Lean & Agile methodologies as required to fulfil work stream objectives. * Ensure assigned work streams are expertly supported for on time, to quality and cost. * Perform the appropriate research to the correct level of detail with all stakeholders to ensure their needs are understood and reflected in the performance of work streams delivery and workshops. * Working with the technology team to identify innovative ways to enhance the existing process design. What we're looking for: * Must have experience with Insurance particularly Underwriting and claims processes in and around London. * Experience of capturing business requirements and shaping work packages * Practical know-how and expertise in business analysis and industry recognised tools and techniques * Familiarity of both agile and lean methodologies and the ability to articulate the differences in the approaches, tools, responsibilities and deliverables as a business analyst in either methodology * Ability to communicate complex business issues clearly in speech and in writing and be able to explain business process concepts to the end user, and influence and persuade at all levels of staff seniority. * Experience in managing own time effectively in an environment of competing end-user demands and time-critical schedules, prioritising simultaneous project work and rapidly evaluating alternate action plans.
