Job Description
Linq Healthcare are working with a Substance Misuse charity based in Tameside who are looking for an experienced and dedicated Substance Misuse Lead Nurse. Main Duties: * Ensuring integrated pathways in place for service users who require treatment for their health needs to their addiction. * Ensure that the services clinical model is effective and compliant in line with policy and national guidance. * Implement / maintain an immunisation and vaccination scheme to help combat blood borne virus and other infectious diseases and provide advice and information to other professionals on BBV and the care of individuals with drug and alcohol issues. * Ensure programmes, i.e. immunisation programmes, are properly staffed and contractual requirements are met. * Working in partnership with stakeholders and promoting effectively to commissioners and health and wellbeing boards. * To be involved in clinical audit of the service * Contribute to the overall performance of the service ensuring targets are met and exceeded. * Ensuring clinical services are delivered to high standards and in line with CQC essential standard. Requirements of the Lead Nurse: * Current NMC registration (RGN/RMN) * Extensive knowledge and experience of substance misuse Benefits of the position: * Salary up to £41,000 For more information, or to apply, please send your CV to
