Job Title: Tactical Marketing Manager Department: Marketing Reports to: Head of Marketing Job Purpose: This is a vital and diverse role that provides the opportunity to lead communications for Retail, Fleet & Business, AUV and Aftersales for Hyundai Motors UK. The Tactical Marketing Manager will formulate and implement strategy and campaigns across these business areas to create demand and drive business growth whilst at the same time developing the marketing professionalism and effectiveness of the dealer network. The Tactical Marketing Manager will share best practice across the organisation and the dealer network and align closely with HMUK Sales and Program teams, field teams and agency partners to drive leads and conversions. One direct report; Tactical Marketing Executive. The Role: The purpose of this role is to create, manage and produce marketing strategies and campaigns to drive leads and sales for Hyundai Motors UK sales and programme teams and the dealer network. This is an all-encompassing marketing role working across multiple areas of the UK team to deliver innovative demand creation activities that relies heavily on insight led communications planning to drive conversion and support commercial objectives and marketing strategy. Demonstrate marketing effectiveness through robust ROI as well as the ability to flex and refine communications in order to meet the changing needs of key stakeholders. The role works in an integrated way across HMUK's marketing department, working directly alongside product, CRM & digital, brand experience PR and brand communications colleagues. The role also requires full alignment with the HMUK Sales and programmes teams including the regional field teams. Finally, the role works in close partnership with all dealers across the UK. Key Responsibilities: * Overall management and direction of the Hyundai Motors UK Retail, AUV, Aftersales and Fleet & Business Marketing programmes and associated marketing support * Deliver effective launch campaigns for all stakeholders in accordance with their priorities whilst supporting national launch activity (and provision of effective launch assets for the dealer network) * Delivery of dealer marketing campaigns to drive leads and sales to the dealer network using insight and data to determine communications strategy, channel plan and creative message * Maintain full alignment with HMUK sales teams (retail and fleet) to understand commercial priorities and agree the focus of the quarterly tactical campaigns as well as responding to key business challenges * Define and implement the quarterly tactical campaigns across all communications channels (search, social, OLA, broadcast media, print) in accordance with national priorities, dealer priorities and in full accordance with centrally defined brand and communications strategy * Lead the communication of the marketing support briefings and ensure buy-in from all internal and external stakeholders, including the HMUK dealer network * Management of agency relationships (supporting Retail, AUV, Aftersales and Fleet & Business) ensuring they are fully briefed on business priorities and objectives with the resulting implementation on brand, on time and to budget * Represent marketing team at required forums * Management of all reporting and optimisation to ensure marketing effectiveness and ROI across activities * with Key Performance Indicators that can be reported back within HMUK and dealer network * Maintain strict adherence to HMUK brand guidelines across all tactical communications (including monitoring of dealer communications and enforcing BI breach and Infringement process) - Development and communication of a dealer advertising guidelines, including latest legal requirements. * Management of the Retail, AUV, Aftersales and Fleet & Business marketing budget including regular forecasts and reconciliations and annual business planning * Support the promotion of national events and key sponsorship properties including retail activation national partnerships and sponsorship properties * Supporting Brand Experience team with the provision of local experiential support for Fleet & Business team and dealer network including event support, event kit hire, BA support and event consultancy with agency partner
