Job Description

Job Title Intelligence Development and Investigations AVP Location Glasgow Financial Crime Compliance Services is responsible for positioning the business to most effectively mitigate the risks specifically addressing the areas of anti-money laundering (AML), terrorism financing, and anti-bribery and corruption (ABC). The Intelligence Development and Investigations (IDI) team is a team within Financial Crime Compliance Services and are committed to the detection, prevention and disruption of financial crime, and works extensively with internal partners and with law enforcement and other external agencies to achieve this. What will you be doing? * Support the delivery of the Joint Money Laundering Intelligence Taskforce (JMLIT) priorities within the set parameters, * Proactive profiling of internal and external data and the development of intelligence relating to financial crime, * Development of profiles to proactively identify customers of concern, identifying exposure to the Bank, * Undertaking liaison with specialist law enforcement and government agencies in the UK as appropriate, * Participate in the 'out of hours' responses to major external events such as terrorist attacks, * Ensuring the outcomes from intelligence led activity are embedded in the business and with other internal partners, * Work closely with external partners in the development of intelligence and management of the Bank's position on specific cases identified, * Fulfilling SAR reporting obligations as consequence of intelligence activity. What we're looking for: * Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills both across teams, upwards throughout organisations, * Proven technical expertise in the field of Financial Crime Intelligence or investigations - specifically in respect of intelligence development matters, * Experience of working within a highly regulated environment along with a sound understanding of the current and key issue within financial services. Skills that will help you in the role: * Highly organised and structured, * Proven technical expertise in the field of Financial Crime Intelligence or investigations * Experience in intelligence development matters and proactive investigation. Where will you be working? This role will be based in the Aurora Building, 1 of our 3 modern City Centre locations until our exciting new campus location overlooking the River Clyde is opened in 2020.
