Job Description
Health Records Clerk The Health Records Department at Kingston Hospital are currently seeking to recruit a Health Records clerk to join our very busy but friendly Health Records Department. We would like to recruit two full time positions of 37.5 hours per week and a part time position of 22.5 hours per week (Fixed term contract of 18 Months). You are required to work as part of a multi-functional team and will possess the ability to adapt to a changing environment while consistently meeting deadlines. The hours of work consist of an 8 hour shift between our core hours of 8am and 6pm. The candidate must have a good sense of responsibility and be able to apply Trust policies, be well organised, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbally. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and confident people who can work under pressure in order to meet deadlines. Numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail are essential. The successful post holder will ideally have experience in hospital systems to a consistently high standard e.g. Electronic Care Records Service (CRS), health records terminal digit filing system, but other relevant experience would be considered. This post is physically demanding and requires a significant amount of manual handling (lifting and walking) and requires the post holder to be physically fit.
